The LCCTC Conservation Club is still in its beginnings as a club, but already has its sights on community service and lasting effects. As a start, we begin close to us with a Campus Cleanup. Members of the CC picked up garbage, helped removed wind damaged limbs, and cleared out an old illegal dumping site discovered nearby. The Conservation Club would like to thank some non-members who supported this day as well:

Ms. Kegel for the encouragement and reminders on announcements.

Ms. Price and RT for providing us coffee upon our return! Warmed our hearts and our bodies.

Mr. Windhorst/Ms. Pasterik and the Media Team for support and acknowledgment of student effort.

Ms. McVicker-Shaffer and The Eagle for the amazing Eagle Blog Post (click here) for the support and acknowledgment of student effort.

Custodial Staff for supplies, encouragement, and support.

We at the LCCTC CC hope that this act of husbandry and pride with our school will become contagious and spread beyond the schoolyard! We also hope to make this an annual event and continue to expand our cleaning efforts.
